Whois privacy

Whoiz.biz is a provider of whois privacy service. We do not own any domain names for which we provide our privacy service. Our private registration service is intended to keep your personal contact information out of your domain's Whois record, and safe from spammers, telemarketers, and ethically challenged marketing companies.

When you register a domain name, you are entering into a contract with your domain's regisrtar under which you are required to provide and maintain complete and accurate contact information. ICANN, the body that oversees domain registration, requires registrars to verify this information provided, and to suspend or terminate a domain if the registrant contact information is not confirmed or willfully inaccurate. Without privacy service, the information you provide to your registrar will become public via your domain's Whois record.

Spammers, telemarketers, even main-stream companies target the whois database in order to send unsolicited mail. With your personal informoation publicly available, you are at risk for identity theft and to receive a flood of unwanted spam.

Anyone who uses your domain's whois record to contact will see contact information from whoiz.biz. Callers to the phone number will be greeted with a message to visit the https://contact.whoiz.biz website and fill out the Contact Domain Owner form. Email sent to [email protected] will similarly receive an auto-reply with instructions to to visit the whoiz.biz website and fill out the form. At no time is your contact information ever visible to the individual that is trying to contact you.

Mail Forwarding Service
Should we receive a letter or package addressed to your name or company and our address, an agent with whoiz.biz will contact you to arrange delivery of your email, either electronically or by postal mail. A charge of $4.95 will apply for delivering mail electronically, and postal forwarding will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
